The Community Power journey

It all starts with like-minded, local people coming together to form a community energy group, whereby they invest in solar panels, wind turbines or a hydropower generator. To help these group projects get off the ground, we offer financial support with the Powering Communities Fund.

Once renewable energy is generated, we proudly buy the electricity through the power purchase agreement which means we buy at a fair price and sell it to customers at a fair price too.

Together, we provide Great British energy that puts people at the heart of a sustainable movement.

What about our fixed and flexible tariffs?

All three of our energy tariffs are 100% renewable and only use generators located in Great Britain. However, our fixed and flexible tariffs are powered by non-residential sources, so doesn’t offer the same community benefit as our fixed price, Community Power Tariff. But no matter your preference of fixed, flexible or Community Power (fixed), we can provide a great value energy solution to your home.
