Benefits of Switching as a Member

When you join Your Co-op Energy as a member, you will instantly earn 500 points for a single fuel tariff and 1000 points for a dual fuel tariff. Each year, these amounts are renewed at the same value.

As a member, your points accumulate annually, including any additional points earned through our food stores, broadband & mobile, childcare and holidays. Each year the first 1,000 points will go towards the Doing Good Together Fund, which supports local communities.

Our Doing Good Together Fund provides small grants to community causes in need of support. From dinner and dance for dementia to plants for parks, or biscuits for book club to kits for cricket teams and much more, our Doing Good Together Fund can help all members of the community thanks to you.

Applying for the Doing Good Together Fund

Local groups, clubs, and charities can easily apply for our Doing Good Together Fund by providing some basic information about their needs to see if they meet our eligibility criteria for the grant. After you submit your application, we’ll review it and inform you of the outcome, whether you’ve been successful or not.

We want to celebrate the amazing community groups, charities, and individuals making a difference in people’s lives. To do this, we may use the information you provide about your group, project, or cause to share updates about your grant, the activities it supports, and the positive impact it creates—doing good together!
